Outreach Activities
The idea of our outreach activities will be to support our core mission to impart inspiration, enjoyment and learning about beekeeping – we are aiming to try to do events and external facing
engagements that link back to this while also having some fun for those volunteers who want to be involved.
School Visits
Invitation to Hay on Wye primary school. Spotting the queen in the observation hive was the main challenge
and it was lovely to see the children running off to gather their friends, returning and sharing
whatever fact they’d recently learned from us.

NFU Educational Event
The Outreach team supporting a NFU educational event in Builth Wells with two local primary schools. During the visit, pupils learnt about food production, the benefits of wool, biodiversity on farms, the importance of bees, and lots more.
